We have two accommodations on the Margaret River Heartland farm. Both are eco-aligned, and unique with their own voices achieved through curation.
The first is Settlers Rest, an off-grid cottage.
Settlers Rest is a curated, eco-aligned, off-grid cottage overlooking pasture and native forest. It is a device-free immersion into a simpler way of being, with a tree swing, a vintage record player, a ukulele, and even a piano.
Weathered on the outside to help you feel instantly countrified; inside is a warm, cosy hug. The floors are Tasmanian oak with lots of rugs; there’s pot-belly stove and bakers oven, a comfy-as king-size bed, a rainwater shower, modernised bathroom and old-style kitchenette.
Come here for solitude, simplicity, nature and nurture.
Hot tip: The bush bath is a hit with the star-gazers and firepit lovers too.
The second is The Glampavan, a crazy cute and colourful cabin.
If you love quirky, kitsch, eclectic, and boho, you’ll love The Glampavan.
The Glampavan is a unique space that is colourful, creative, and an exercise in boho-on-steroids.
It is a completely refurbished cabin on a farm, with views over farmland to vineyards, paddocks, and a forest.
There’s a queen-size bed by the fire, modern kitchen, day bed / TV nook, tonnes of original art, and a gorgeous bathroom with a rain-water sky-shower.
There is also a record player and soundbar so you can add a soundtrack to your fireside relaxing or outdoor star-gazing.
Hot tip: The Glampavan is dog-friendly — check out dog policy on our AirBnB profile.
